Director, Executive Producer and Screenwriter of ‘Barça Dreams’

 

‘Barça Dreams’ is the third international cinema project by Jordi Llompart, as a director, executive producer and screenwriter. In 2010, he already produced and directed the first 3D fiction feature film in Europe, ‘Magic journey to Africa’, winner of the Gaudí Award 2011 for the Best Special Effects and the Innovation Award 2008.

Llompart has also directed and produced the first documentary for IMAX® theaters in Spain, ‘Mistery of the Nile’, and several documentaries, such as ‘Journey to Arabia’, ‘The nomad experience’, ‘Asha, daughter of Ganges’ and the recently-delivered ‘The end of the big cats’.

As a journalist, Jordi Llompart directed and hosted the Daily News for more than 12 years and the TV shows ‘Versió Directa’ and ‘Fem Empresa’, at the Spanish TV channels TV3 and Canal 33. He also produced and directed the documentary for TV ‘The Vanishing Past’.

In the course of his career, Jordi Llompart has also collaborated with several media groups, such as the newspapers ‘La Vanguardia’, ‘Avui’ and ‘Tiempo’, and the radio stations Avui-Cadena 13 and Catalunya Ràdio. He has also written some divulgative books, such as ‘Seres y estrellas’.
